20 kms from Kirchschlag the majestic Lockenhaus Castle thrones over the village. Lockenhaus is world known for its superb Chamber music festival formerly led by Gidon Kremer.

Castle ruine Landsee

Landsee is home to the biggest Castle ruine of central Europe (11 kms from Kirchschlag). It offers an ideal destination for a hike from Kirchschlag over Lembach and through the Blumau.
